This image perfectly captures the tension and the emotion of Joel and his nightmare self, trapped in the mirror with the demon who torments him. The spiders crawling out of the mirror into the real world represent how the nightmares plague Joel during his waking hours, until the next time when he's dragged back down again, beneath the surface. I love how Crystal captured the detail of Joel's nightmare self having bandages wrapped around his hands. So many feels for this artwork. Thank you, Crystal for capturing the emotion in the eyes.
