I haven't read your books ...Wondrful interview. I haven't read your books but plan to do so now. As a former teacher I know how self-image can destroy a child. I agree that books are powerful ways to reach kids and help them see that are important and not feel worthless because of their body shape or too curly hair (I had a student once that hated her lovely curls) or other differences that set them apart (they believe.)
